New in the collection, Siemens M25. Also known as Telefunken M201/1. Designed in 1929, it was the first directional ribbon microphone on the market. The giant ring magnet (the mic weighs 3,9kg) prevents sound from entering the back. The magnet is covered by a thick layer of black leather. The ribbon element itself is detachable, making replacement very easy.
